GYPZY is by far the smallest yacht in this selection, and that is exactly why she is interesting.
Built by Princess in 2024, this 26.2m motor yacht accommodates eight guests across four cabins and provides a more intimate alternative to the 50m, 60m and 70m superyachts gathering around St Barths for New Year.
Her exterior areas include a sundeck Jacuzzi and several spaces for dining and relaxing outside.
But one of the features we particularly like for this itinerary is her 13.98m Anvera chase tender, capable of speeds of up to 44 knots.

How Much Does a St Barths New Year Yacht Charter Cost?
The advertised weekly rate is not normally the final charter budget.
In addition to the base charter rate, guests should usually plan for an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) and any applicable taxes, fees and crew gratuity.
APA is an allowance used to cover expenses incurred during the charter, such as fuel, food, beverages, port fees and other operating expenses.

What Is APA?
APA stands for Advance Provisioning Allowance.
Rather than being an additional fee retained automatically by the yacht owner, it is used by the captain to fund charter related expenses on the client’s behalf.

When Should You Book a Yacht for St Barths New Year?
As early as possible.
New Year is not a normal week in the Caribbean charter calendar.
Clients are looking for yachts over almost identical dates, some yachts may be reserved for owner use, and festive charter terms can further reduce the number of realistic options.

Berthing and anchoring arrangements depend on several factors, including yacht size, availability and the yacht’s operational plan.
This is something that should be considered during the booking process rather than after the yacht has been selected.

Can You Combine St Barths With Other Islands?
